North East Blaze welcomes applications from all interested players for our three 2013 Victorian Netball League teams. Championship and Division One selections will be conducted together, whilst 19&Under selections will run separately. 19&Under players may be considered for Championship or Division One, upon player request or at the invitation of the selection panel.

Our primary training venue for season 2013 and all selection dates is the Bundoora Netball and Sport Centre (BNASC), located at RMIT University, McKimmies Rd, Bundoora.  Blaze main training nights are Monday and Thursday and players must be prepared for this commitment.

North East Blaze Netball Club selection details:                                    

·            Monday 10^th 17^th and 24^th September 2012

·            19&Under:  6.30pm – 8.15pm

·            Champ/Div 1: 8.00pm – 9.45pm

** Starting time is warm up start, sessions may finish early, pending numbers

2013 Selection Timeline (to be read in conjunction with the 2013 Blaze Selection Policy):

·         Applications open Monday August 6^th 2012 and close Friday 7^th September 2012. 

·         Players must be 19 or Under as at 31/12/2013, for the 19&U Division.  The minimum age for all VNL players is 15 as at 31/12/2013. 

·         All players must complete and return an application form by the due date.

·         All players must attend at least two sessions, unless extenuating circumstances exist.

·         All players will be notified as advised, as to whether they are required to continue in the selection process.

·         Blaze will formally offer places during October 2012 by email, players must accept in writing.
