Championship
DC North East Blaze Netball Club led from beginning to end although scores remained tight throughout the first quarter.  While Melbourne Vixens import Kadie-Ann Dehaney made it tough in the goal circle early, Blaze worked hard  to dominate the mid- court with Leah Reilly taking out best on court and Micaela Wilson creating plenty of turnovers. Blaze continued to stretch out the lead in the second half and eventually won the game by 30 goals! Blaze 63 - Ariels 33. The Champ girls are now in sitting equal top position on the ladder.

Division 1
This was game of many stories... Ariels came out hard setting up a press and rattling the usually dynamic blaze attack. But, showing composure and maturity, Blaze steadied and went on a 20-8 streak.
Ariels made a number of changes throughout the game and slowly started to peg back Blazes lead. The last quarter required every ounce of determination to hold on to the lead and Blaze managed to stay in front. Blaze won 55 - Ariels 54.
Blaze remain undefeated in Div 1 and sit in top position.

19&U
Blaze had a good start to the game scoring the first four goals, however Blaze let them back into the game and the score remained close for the rest of the game. Going into the last quarter Blaze found themselves down by 2 and Ariels kicked away getting to as much as 8 goals up. Blaze found a way to fight back and began closing the gap, however they ran out of time losing the game by 2.
Blaze 48 - Ariels 50.
Blaze are now sitting 4th on the ladder in a very even competition.
