The girls came out full of #passionfiredesire and led the first quarter by 10 goals. Throughout the game coach Kate Upton made a number of quick changes and the girls stood up to the challenge, continuing to increasing their lead. Everyone in the team contributed and Blaze won by 14.

Blaze currently remain in second position on the ladder.
Division 1
Last time they met the game was a thriller with Blaze stealing the lead with seconds to go and winning by 1. So when Sovereigns shot the first four goals of the game it was a little worrying! But to the credit of the Blaze players they steadied and worked the ball down court.
This gave them a 17 goal lead at half time. The girls continued to dominate throughout the game with the recently returned defenderKaitlyn Black picking up the umpire votes along with Ivanhoe Dermatology Clinic & Skin Therapy Centres Bec Colwell and Bronwyn Taylor.

Another tight start saw the girls have to come back from a 5 goal deficit in the first quarter to be leading by 6 at the first change. It remained close i the second quarter until a third quarter surge saw the players extend their lead to 12, before winning by 20.
Again outstanding performances by the whole team with Leah Rentschpicking up the 3 votes from the umpire along with Georgia Harper 2 and Suli Leota 1.
