DC North East Blaze welcomes applications from all interested players for our three 2016 Victorian Netball League teams. Players must attend at least two sessions, unless extenuating circumstances exist. Championship and Division One selections will be conducted together, whilst 19&under selections will run concurrently. 19&under players may be viewed and considered for Championship or Division One, upon request or at the discretion of the selection panel.
Our primary training venue for season 2016 and all selection dates is the Diamond Creek Community Bank Stadium, located at 129 Hurstbridge Road Diamond Creek. Blaze main training nights are Sunday and Friday.
Registration is half an hour prior to each session.
North East Blaze Netball Club selection dates:
- Wednesday 30 September 6:00pm – 8:00pm (19’s only)
- Wednesday 30 September 8:00pm – 10:00pm, (Open)
- Thursday 8 October 7.00pm – 9.00pm (19’s only)
- Thursday 8 October 8:00pm – 10:00pm (Open)
- Friday 23 October – (if required) 7:00pm – 9:00pm (All players)
2016 Selection Timeline (to be read in conjunction with the Blaze Selection Policy):
Applications open Monday 1st September and close Wednesday 28 September 2015.
- All players must complete and return an application form.
- If you are an ANL Player you only need to attend one selection
- All players will be notified by email by midnight each Wednesday, as to whether they are required to continue in the selection process or not attend any further selections.
- Blaze will formally offer places Monday 26 October 2015 by email, players must accept in writing
