Round 2 of the 2010 Preseason Competition saw Blaze up against UB Ballarat Pride and VU Western Lightning.
The Championship team grabbed the first win for Blaze for 2010, with a convincing 12 goal win over UB Ballarat Pride. The 19&Under and Division One teams had strong performances, but both teams are still working through consistency across four quarters and new combinations.
Round 2 Preseason Results - Wednesday 10th February 2010:
- CHAMP NORTH EAST BLAZE 50 defeated UB BALLARAT PRIDE 38
- DIV 1 UB BALLARAT PRIDE 39 defeated NORTH EAST BLAZE 28
- 19&U VU WESTERN LIGHTNING 39 defeated NORTH EAST BLAZE 32
