North East Blaze Netball Club are the new face in Victorian Netball and ready to face the inaugural season of the Victorian Netball League!
The restructure of the current State League Competition, prompted DC FORCE (Diamond Creek FORCE NA) to strengthen their existing State League position and put forward the best possible application for the Victorian Netball League.
After intial discussions with key Netball Groups in the North East, a new group North East Alliance was born.
Whilst a separate entity has been created, this is founded by significant support from key partners Banyule & Distrits NA and Diamond Creek FORCE NA. In addition, we say thank you to all Netball Associations in the North East corridoor who provided letters of support, and we look forward to building strong relationships in the future.
Upon selection into the Victorian Netball League, North East Alliance has already passed a number of significant milestones, with the first one selection of our new name - North East Blaze Netball Club!
What does our new name mean?
1. a bright flame, fire, gleam or glow
2. a sparkling brightness
3. a sudden, intense outburst of fire, passion, or fury
4. to be brilliantly conspicuous
